Event: Regional Climate Conference “Kathmandu to Copenhagen” [viewed]

The Conference, supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the World Bank, will bring together high-level officials, climate change experts, and civil society around the theme of climate change and the South Asian Himalayas. The Conference is expected to contribute to thinking about climate change threats and opportunities for South Asia including to discussions in the Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-term Cooperative Action (AWG-LCA) and AWG-Kyoto Protocol.

Event: UNFCCC Technical Workshop on Joint Implementation [viewed]

The workshop will provide a platform for the Joint Implementation (JI) Supervisory Committee, JI project participants and other interested stakeholders to share experiences and exchange views, particularly regarding matters relating to the development of a determination and verification manual and guidance on JI programmes of activities.
