Event: Mind the Science: Why Businesses Are Aligning Their Goals with the Planet [viewed]

As part of Climate Week Paris 2015, the partners of the Science Based Targets initiative are organizing this event to present the Sectoral Decarbonization Approach methodology that they developed for corporations to set greenhouse gas (GHG) targets aligned with climate science and the goal of keeping average global temperature rise at or below 2°C above pre-industrial levels. Speakers from Science Based Targets will present their report, titled 'Mind the Science,' and corporate leaders will speak about their experience with applying science-based targets. The partners of the Science Based Targets initiative are CDP, the UN Global Compact, the World Resources Institute (WRI) and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).
