UNU and Viet Nam National University Sign MoU to Promote Research on Sustainable Development

5 March 2010: During a ceremony held at the UN University (UNU) in Tokyo, Japan, Konrad Osterwalder, UNU Rector, and Mai Trong Nhuan, Viet Nam National University (VNU) President signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration in education, research on sustainable development, curriculum development and e-learning, and capacity development of staff and students.

UNU Institutes are currently active in Viet Nam working on areas related to flood risk management, climate adaptation, vulnerability assessment in the Mekong Delta, and climate and health issues. [UNU Press Release]
