UNFCCC Releases Documents Ahead of Warsaw Meeting

UNFCCC30 August 2013: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published documents in preparation for the upcoming Climate Change Conference to be held in Warsaw, Poland, from 11-22 November 2013. 

Some documents relate to organizational matters and include: the provisional agenda and annotations for the 39th session of the Subsidiary Body for Scientific Technological Advice (SBSTA 39) (FCCC/SBSTA/2013/4); the provisional agenda and annotations for the 19th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 19) (FCCC/CP/2013/1); the provisional agenda and annotations for the Conference of the Parties serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (COP/MOP) (FCCC/KP/CMP/2013/1); and the document 'Admission of observers: organizations applying for admission as observers' (FCCC/CP/2013/2).

The Secretariat has also published: a request from Kazakhstan for clarification of the text of Article 3, paragraph 7 ter (section G) of the Doha Amendment (FCCC/KP/CMP/2013/7); the report of the Global Environment Facility (GEF) to the COP (FCCC/CP/2013/3); the report on gender composition (FCCC/CP/2013/4); the report of the Adaptation Fund Board on its activities at each session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (COP/MOP), which was prepared in response to decision 1/CMP.3 requesting the Board to report on its activities at each session of the CMP, and covers the period from 30 November 2012 to 31 July 2013 (FCCC/KP/CMP/2013/2).
