UNFCCC Publishes Slovenia’s 2010 GHG Inventory Report

6 April 2011: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published the report (FCCC/ARR/2010/SVN) of the individual review of the annual submission of Slovenia.

In the report, the Expert Review Team (ERT) concludes that Slovenia's inventory submission has been prepared and the information reported in accordance with the UNFCCC reporting guidelines. Slovenia has submitted a complete set of common reporting format (CRF) tables for the years 1986–2008 and a national inventory report (NIR). These are complete in terms of geographical coverage, years and sectors, as well as generally complete in terms of categories and gases. However, some categories for which methodologies for estimating emissions are available have been reported as not estimated. The ERT finds Slovenia's inventory to be generally in line with the Revised 1996 Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Guidelines, the IPCC good practice guidance and the IPCC good practice guidance for land use, land use-change and forestry (LULUCF). There are minor deviations from the guidelines in terms of the allocation of emissions from military fuel combustion and the reporting of the reference approach, as well as some minor issues in relation to time-series consistency. [Publication: Report of the Individual Review of the Annual Submission of Slovenia Submitted in 2010]
