UNFCCC Publishes Parties’ Views on the Common Tabular Format for Information Reporting

19 September 2012: The UNFCCC Secretariat has released a miscellaneous document (FCCC/SBSTA/2012/MISC.11) containing parties' views on the reporting guidelines, particularly on the common tabular format (CTF) for electronic reporting of information.

Submissions from five parties, namely Australia, the EU, Switzerland, Japan and the US, were compiled in a miscellaneous document. The Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA), at its 36th session, initiated consideration of the work programme on a CTF for electronic reporting of information, in accordance with the "UNFCCC biennial reporting guidelines for developed Parties" as contained in decision 2/CP.17, Annex I. The SBSTA invited Parties to submit their views, by 13 August 2012, and requested the Secretariat to compile these submissions into a miscellaneous document.
