UNFCCC Launches Call for Experts for JI-AP
9 July 2009: The UNFCCC Secretariat has launched the sixth public call for three experts to serve as members of the Joint Implementation Accreditation Panel (JI-AP). The JI-AP was created by the Joint Implementation Supervisory Committee (JISC) at its second session and consists of six experts.
Considering that the term of three JI-AP members will expire on 28 September 2009 at the earliest, the JISC, at its 16th meeting (Bonn, Germany, 17-18 June 2009), requested the Secretariat to make a new public call for experts to fill the vacant positions and propose candidates to the JISC with a view to appointing new members at its 17th meeting, which is scheduled to take place from 10-11 September 2009. The call for experts is open from 9 July - 27 August 2009. [The call]
