UNESCO, AOSIS Exhibitions Present SIDS Response to Climate Change

31 March 2011: The Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) of the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), in partnership with the Alliance of Small Island States (AOSIS), has created a multimedia project to exhibit pioneer actions implemented by small island developing States (SIDS) in the face of climate change and rising sea levels.

The exhibitions will open at two venues in France on 15 April 2011: Nausicaa, Centre National de la Mer in Boulogne-sur-Mer and Mare Nostrum aquarium in Montpelier. The two venues will show the exhibitions during the next three years. The multimedia project will include documentaries, a three-dimensional film and documentation in addition to the exhibitions.
