Second Meeting of the World Climate Conference-3 International Organizing Committee Underway

2 September 2008: The second meeting of the third World

Climate Conference's International Organizing Committee (WIOC) is taking place

in Geneva, Switzerland, from 3-5 September 2008.

During the meeting,

participants are scheduled to, inter alia: review past activities and actions

involving the organization of World Climate Conference-3; review the terms of

reference for the WIOC; review the proposed notes for a ministerial declaration

and decide on the approach to be used for its development; and examine actions
