REEEP Calls for Project Proposals on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency
14 March 2011: The Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP) has begun its eighth funding cycle by announcing a call for proposals for clean energy projects targeting Brazil, China, India, Indonesia and South Africa.
Preference will be given to proposals addressing key barriers to the uptake of renewable energy and energy efficiency. Funding per project is approximately 150,000 euros. Four programme priorities have been laid out for this funding period: promoting successful and innovative business models for clean energy; supporting innovative financing approaches for clean energy; clean energy policy support accelerate market development; and strengthening regulatory mechanisms and standards.
The application process is web-based, with initial concept submissions due by 15 April 2011, full proposals due by 27 May 2011, and final project selection to be completed by the end of June 2011.
