Global Environment Facility (GEF)

January 2009: The Global Environment Facility (GEF) has released a nine-minute video by Ibrahima Fall, a Senegalese filmmaker, which documents the work of the GEF in climate change projects in selected African countries.

The video includes interviews with environment ministers of African countries that have benefited from GEF support and a number of key political figures. These interviews present the results achieved on the ground over the past years and highlight the GEF's role and its standing as the financial mechanism of the UNFCCC. [The Video]
