DSD Posts Submissions for Secretary-General’s Report on Climate Change and Possible Security Implications
10 September 2009: The Division for Sustainable Development (DSD), of the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), has posted member States' submissions of input towards the Secretary-General's report on Climate Change and Possible Security Implications.
Submissions from the following member States are posted in the format and the language received: Argentina; Bahamas; Bangladesh; Brazil; Jamaica on behalf of CARICOM; Chile; China; Sweden on behalf of EU; Finland; Guatemala; Iceland; Indonesia; Italy; Kribati; Maldives; Marshall Islands; Mexico; Micronesia; Monaco; Nauru; New Zealand; Oman; Pakistan; Palau; Panama; Pacific Small Island Developing States; Seychelles; Solomon Island; Tuvalu; and the US. Member States not wishing to have their submissions made available on the web were requested to inform the Secretariat accordingly. [The submissions]
