Caring for Climate Seeks Inputs on Corporate Engagement on Climate Change Policy
April 2013: Caring for Climate is calling for inputs on a study on corporate engagement on climate change policy that it is conducting in partnership with the World Resources Institute (WRI), the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP). The project seeks to help companies to evaluate, improve and demonstrate responsible influence on climate change policy, as well as to develop guidance material on the topic.
Caring for Climate will convene two webinars, on 20 June and 25 July 2013, related to the research and will carry out interviews. Caring for Climate signatories are invited to join these webinars and provide input to the study by contacting Heidi Huusko (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Launched by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in 2007, Caring for Climate is an initiative of the UN Global Compact and the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) aimed at advancing the role of business in addressing climate change. It provides a framework for business leaders to advance practical solutions and help shape public policy and attitudes. [Caring for Climate Website]
