1_September 2015: During August 2015, the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the African Development Bank (AfDB), the Climate Investment Funds (CIF), the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the Global Environment Facility (GEF), the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and the Adaptation Fund reported on climate finance developments, including new funding, project lessons and institutional developments. 28_August_2015: The UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) has launched an online e-learning platform to help countries in the region build capacity to withstand, adapt to and recover from natural disasters. The platform, called the Geo-referenced Information Systems for Disaster Risk Management (Geo-DRM) portal, is a component of ESCAP's efforts to advance regional implementation of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) 2015-2030, which was adopted in March 2015. continued...
