24_March_2015: The UN Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) hosted a regional consultation for high-level political and Central Bank representatives, NGOs, civil society and the private sector to discuss: financing the post-2015 development agenda; Africa's progress since the Monterrey Consensus; climate financing; international private financial flows; international public finance and sovereign debt; trade, partnerships, technology and innovation; systemic issues; and monitoring, data and follow up, among other issues. The results of the consultation will be included as part of a Common African Position for the Third International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD 3). continued...
