30 November 2010: Parliamentarians at the meeting on "Disaster Risk Reduction: An Instrument for Achieving the Millennium Development Goals," convened by the UN International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (UN/ISDR) in Manila, the Philippines, from 25-27 November 2010, called on governments in the region to allocate at least 1% of their national budgets to projects designed to strengthen disaster risk reduction (DRR).
29 November 2010: The UN Development Programme (UNDP) is working with the Government of Bangladesh and local communities to plant mangroves along the southern delta's coastline, as a protection against sea level rise and the increased impacts of storms caused by climate change.

November 2010: The Mitigation of Climate Change in Agriculture Project (MICCA) of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) has released a paper titled "Agriculture, forestry and other land uses (AFOLU) mitigation project database: an assessment of the current status of land-based sectors in the carbon markets."
November 2010: The Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) has produced a selection of studies and guidebooks related to country specific analyses and methods for REDD+ (reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation in developing countries, and the role of conservation, sustainable use of forests and enhancement of carbon stocks).
November 2010: The UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has released two publications that examine the potential of woodfuel for mitigating climate change, including country case studies.
25 November 2010: The UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) published "The Least Developed Countries Report 2010" which, among other issues, highlights the vulnerability of LDCs to climate impacts. For example, the report indicates that the LDC small island developing states (SIDS) and LDCs in Asia are particularly vulnerable to the impact of storms and are also the least able to cope with the social and economic fallout from climate-related incidents.
17 November 2010: The Heads of Government of Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand and Viet Nam, meeting in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on 17 November 2010, for the fourth Summit of the Ayeyawady-Chao Phraya-Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy (ACMECS), adopted a declaration addressing agricultural, energy and environmental cooperation, among other items.
