Many Strong Voices Highlights Historical Documents on Climate Change Adaptation [viewed]

August 2012: Many Strong Voices (MSV), a collaboration between coastal communities in the Arctic and small island developing States (SIDS) that seeks to promote action on climate change, is working to ensure that information on historical documents relevant to climate change adaptation is available. As part of this effort, MSV highlighted two historical environment and climate change initiatives.

Event: Third Asian Development Bank Transport Forum [viewed]

The third Asian Development Bank (ADB) Transport Forum will convene under the theme "Inclusive and Sustainable Transport". UNU-EHS Meeting Focuses on Risk Reduction and Climate Adaptation in Coastal Zones [viewed]

30 July 2012: The ninth meeting of the UN University Institute for Environment and Human Security (UNU-EHS) Expert Working Group on Measuring Vulnerability focused on the theme “Development pathways for urban and rural coastal zones.” Participants from France, Germany, Indonesia, Japan, the US, the UK and Viet Nam addressed climate change adaptation and risk reduction in coastal zones.

CCAFS Project Demonstrates Positive Impacts of Climate Smart Agriculture [viewed]
