Meeting of LDCs and AOSIS Climate Negotiators to be Convened [viewed]

15 June 2010: The EU has provided US$1.1 million to the Solomon Islands Government to host an international meeting of 200 climate change negotiators from Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and the Alliance of Small Island States (AOSIS) to discuss key climate change issues ahead of the 16th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UNFCCC, scheduled to take place in Cancun, Mexico, at the end of 2010.

UNECE Organizes Energy and Climate Meetings [viewed]

11 June 2010: The UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) has hosted a series of energy and climate meetings at its headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. The first meeting of the Group of Experts of the Global Energy Efficiency 21 (GEE21) Project convened on 10 June 2010. It was preceded by the 15th Session of the Ad Hoc Group of Experts on Energy Efficiency Investments for Climate Change Mitigation, on 9 June 2010, and followed by the 21th Session of the Steering Committee of the GEE21 Project, on 11 June.

Event: Financing Low-Carbon Growth [viewed]

UNEP FI, through its Climate Change Working Group and Asia Pacific Task Force will convene, in partnership with Cambridge University's P8 Group of institutional investors, the first of series of regional Summits on 'Financing Low-Carbon Growth' in Seoul, Republic of Korea. Event: High-Level Dialogue on Fostering Investment in Electricity Generation in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia [viewed]
