24 November 2010: The UNFCCC Secretariat has released the "Synthesis report on the National Economic, Environment and Development Study (NEEDS) for Climate Change Project," which synthesizes the information contained in the reports of ten of the countries that participated in the project (FCCC/SBI/2010/INF.7).
23 November 2010: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published a report (FCCC/SBI/2010/15) on the regional training workshops on the implementation of national adaptation programmes of action (NAPAs) held in 2009–2010.
23 November 2010: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published the report of its regional training programme on preparing technology transfer projects for financing, which took place between 2008 and 2010 (FCCC/SBSTA/2010/INF.6).
19 November 2010: The UN University-hosted "Japan Iceland Geothermal Forum 2010" focused on: the potential for geothermal energy both technically and financially to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and address climate change; the cooperation possibilities between Japan and Iceland, including development and financing; the challenges of geothermal use; the possibilities for further development of geothermal technologies; the role of governments in development of geothermal energy; and the strengths of the Japanese and Icelandic models.
November 2010: The World Forests, Society and Environment Special Project of the International Union of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO), the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the Centre for People and Forests (RECOFTC) have released a publication titled "Asian Forests: Working for People and Nature."
The Conference "Environments of the Poor in the Context of Climate Change and the Green Economy: Making Sustainable Development Inclusive," organized by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), will address the challenge of achieving poverty reduction in the face of growing climate variability and change. It will take stock of the conceptual understandings and empirical evidence developed in recent years and analyze its impact on policy formulation and implementation in Asia and the Pacific.

November 2010: The International Water Management Institute (IWMI) and the WorldFish Center have released a research report on "Climate Change, Water and Agriculture in the Greater Mekong Subregion."
16 November 2010: Helen Clark, UN Development Programme (UNDP) Administrator, in her official visit to Bangladesh, and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina discussed the country's vulnerability to climate change. Topics included rising sea levels, increased salinity and the national adaptation plan.
