Adapting for a Green Economy: Companies, Communities and Climate Change20 June 2011: The UN Environment Programme (UNEP), the UN Global Compact, Oxfam and the World Resources Institute (WRI) have released a study titled “Adapting for a Green Economy: Companies, Communities and Climate Change.” The report makes the business case for private sector adaptation to climate change, including through building the resilience of vulnerable communities in developing countries.

UNWTO Launches Energy Efficiency Project [viewed]

13 June 2011: The UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) has announced the launch of a project with the Indonesian Ministry of Culture and Tourism titled “Sustainable Tourism through Energy Efficiency with Adaptation and Mitigation Measures in Pangandaran (STREAM).” The project will implement climate change mitigation and adaptation measures related to energy efficiency in Pangandaran, Java, Indonesia.

MDGs Follow-up Meeting Calls for Equity-Based Approaches [viewed]
