8 September 2010: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published the report (FCCC/SBSTA/2010/9) of the technical workshop on costs and benefits of adaptation options, organized under the Nairobi Work Programme (NWP) on impacts, vulnerability and adaptation to climate change.
7 September 2010: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published the provisional agendas for the 33rd sessions of the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI) (FCCC/SBI/2010/11) and Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) (FCCC/SBSTA/2010/7), which will take place in Cancun, Mexico, from 30 November-4 December 2010.

31 August 2010: Michel Jarraud, Secretary-General of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), and Luc Gnacadja, Executive Secretary of the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), recently discussed tightening their institutional collaboration with a view to enhancing responses to the effects of climate change.
17 August 2010: In its Environmental Working Paper series, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has published a new paper titled “Incorporating Climate Change Impacts and Adaptation in Environmental Impact Assessments: Opportunities and Challenges.”
3 September 2010: The Oaxaca Workshop on Forest Governance, Decentralization and REDD+ in Latin America and the Caribbean took place in Oaxaca, Mexico, from 31 August-3 September 2010.
The Adaptation Fund Board was established as the operating entity of the Adaptation Fund with the mandate to supervise and manage the Adaptation Fund under the authority and guidance of the CMP. At its 12th meeting, the Adaptation Fund Board will discuss several project proposals submitted for funding, and the accreditation of further implementing entities, among other matters. The Board will also engage in a dialogue with representatives from the civil society at the end of the meeting.
