11 December 2009: The Copenhagen Business Day event convened at the headquarters of the Confederation of Danish Industry, in Copenhagen, Denmark, on 11 December 2009. Organized by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), together with the Confederation of Danish Industry, Copenhagen Business Day met in parallel to the UN Copenhagen Climate Change Conference.
11 December 2009: The UN Environment Programme (UNEP) has released a report titled "Buildings and Climate Change - Summary for Decision Makers," which finds that energy-efficient buildings could significantly contribute to climate change mitigation and seeks to ensure that negotiators at the UN Copenhagen Climate Change Conference have the information needed to incorporate emissions from buildings into a global strategy on climate change.
8 December 2009: The UNFCCC Secretariat has launched a call for public inputs on the first draft of the Joint Implementation (JI) accreditation standard.
4 December 2009: The Executive Board of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) has released the report of its 51st meeting, held from 30 November to 4 December 2009, in Copenhagen, Denmark, during which it considered matters relating to the operation of the CDM.
The Joint Implementation Supervisory Committee (JISC) will hold its 20th meeting to consider matters relating to the operation of Joint Implementation (JI). The meeting will be preceded by informal consultations on 22 February 2010.
