IEA Member Countries and Auto Makers Meet to Discuss Future of Global Electric Vehicle Use [viewed]

IEA23 October 2012: The Clean Energy Ministerial Electric Vehicle Initiative (EVI), chaired by the International Energy Agency (IEA), gathered major automotive manufacturers and representatives from EVI member countries on 19 October in Stuttgart, Germany, for a public-private roundtable to discuss pathways for increasing electric vehicle use worldwide.

Event: European Electric Vehicle Congress [viewed]

The Congress will bring together policy makers, industry leaders, end-users, researchers, and NGOs to discuss the policy, economic, technological, and ecological aspects of electric vehicles and clean transportation. The main theme of the conference is "Battery, Hybrid and Fuel Cell Vehicles are ready: Challenges, Opportunities and Outlook." The day before the Congress, an EU Project day is being organized to provide information on different programs, funding opportunities and funded projects supported by the European institutions.

EcoMicro to Support Four Latin American Microfinance Institutions [viewed]
