GEF SGP Supports Renewable Energy Projects in Industrial Region of Ukraine [viewed]

31 October 2012:  The Global Environment Facility's Small Grants Programme (GEF SGP) has conceded US$149,415 for the development of three projects to combat climate change in Ukraine. 1 November 2012: The UN General Assembly's (UNGA) Second Committee considered issues relevant to the UN Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT), including discussion of two reports, in a meeting on 1 November 2012, in New York, US. Joan Clos, Executive Director, UN-HABITAT, said the Third UN Conference on Housing and Sustainable Development (Habitat III) in 2016 should reinvigorate sustainable urban development commitments and produce a political outcome document.

GEF SGP Projects Promote Energy Efficiency, Combat Climate Change in Ukraine [viewed]

31 October 2012: The Global Environment Facility's Small Grants Programme (SGP) has provided financial support to implement three demonstration projects to combat climate change and reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in Ukraine. Consumer Behavior Key to Reducing Emissions in the EU [viewed]
