16 December 2009: At a side event held during the UN Copenhagen Climate Change Conference, the UN Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (UNECLAC) released a study that identifies the economic impacts of climate change on the region.
8 December 2009: The International Energy Agency (IEA) has published a report titled "Cities, Towns and Renewable Energy: Yes In My Front Yard," which aims to illustrate to local level stakeholders the benefits and opportunities renewables can offer local businesses and citizens, and to assist national governments to better understand the role municipalities can play in national renewables programmes.
7 December 2009: The World Health Organization (WHO) has released an updated fact file titled "10 Facts about Climate Change and Health," which describes current and projected effects of climate change on public health.
The third meeting of the Task Force will review the establishment of the programme of pilot projects under the UNECE Water Convention aimed at supporting implementation of the Guidance on Water and Adaptation to Climate Change and at spurring cooperation on adaptation in transboundary basins. The Task Force will also discuss future activities in this area, as well as cooperation with the UNECE Protocol on Water and Health.

November 2009: The UN Environment Programme (UNEP) Mediterranean Action Plan (MAP) and its Regional Activity Centres have released the first State of the Environment and Development report covering the Mediterranean region, which tackles key environmental issues, including climate change.
25 November 2009: The World Health Organization (WHO), together with an international team of health and environmental scientists, has produced the first global study identifying the health implications of different mitigation strategies in high and low-income countries.
November 2009: The European Commission (EC) has released a report of a multi-sectoral assessment of climate change impacts in Europe for 2011-2040 and 2071-2100.
23 November 2009: The UN Development Programme (UNDP) and the World Health Organization (WHO), with the support of the International Energy Agency (IEA), have released a new report titled "The Energy Access Situation in Developing Countries: A Review Focusing on the Least Developed Countries and Sub-Saharan Africa." The report indicates that over 1.5 billion people currently lack access to electricity.
