This workshop will launch the programme of pilot projects and the platform for exchanging experiences on adaptation in transboundary basins. It will provide a forum for representatives of the pilot projects and other similar initiatives to share practical experiences and better understand approaches, methods and concepts regarding climate change adaptation in transboundary basins.

The third meeting of the Task Force will review the establishment of the programme of pilot projects under the UNECE Water Convention aimed at supporting implementation of the Guidance on Water and Adaptation to Climate Change and at spurring cooperation on adaptation in transboundary basins. The Task Force will also discuss future activities in this area, as well as cooperation with the UNECE Protocol on Water and Health.
