21 September 2010: The UN Environment Programme (UNEP) has joined the Global Alliance for Clean Cook Stoves. The Alliance was launched on the sidelines of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) Summit, which is taking place in New York, US, from 20-22 September 2010.
20 September 2010: The UN Environment Programme (UNEP) has released "A Brief for Policymakers on the Green Economy and Millennium Development Goals (MDGs)," which concludes that investment in clean energy, sustainable transport, forests and environmentally-friendly agriculture is essential to meet the MDGs.
17 September 2010: The UN Environment Programme (UNEP) and the UN Development Programme (UNDP) have announced the implementation of the Rwandan Climate Change and Development Project - Adapting by Reducing Vulnerability (CC DARE).

September 2010: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) issued a paper titled "Focused Action: Priorities for Addressing Climate Change in Asia and the Pacific," which outlines ADB's priority areas for investments and action on climate change.
August 2010: The UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) has published a report titled "The MDGs in Europe and Central Asia: Achievements, Challenges and the Way Forward." The chapter on MDG 7 (environmental sustainability) was jointly prepared by UNECE and the Regional Office for Europe of the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), and contains several references to climate change.
September 2010: The UN Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM) has released a report that maps out the gender-related concerns from the floods for current relief camps, identifying gaps in information and flagging issues for upcoming stages of early recovery.
8 September 2010: The Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) has released the September volume of its "REDD-plus & Biodiversity" newsletter.
The Fifth Policy Board meeting of the UN-REDD Programme will be followed by a joint meeting with the FCPF and FIP governing bodies, to be held on 6 November 2010.
