Jimmie Rodgers, SPC Director-General, and Robert Kressirer, GIZ Country Director (Philippines and the Pacific)24 November 2011: The Secretariat of the Pacific Community (SPC) and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) have signed two financing agreements, committing the two organizations to provide assistance to Pacific coastal communities to adapt to the effects of climate change through improved conservation and sustainable use of fisheries resources.
