Event: Global South-South Development Expo 2010 [viewed]

Organized by the UN annually since 2008, the Global South-South Development Expo provides a forum to enable developing countries and their development partners, including donor agencies, organizations of the UN system, and private-sector and civil society organizations, to showcase their evidence-based South-South development solutions. Solution forums include social protection and decent work, food security, climate change and environment, HIV/AIDS, global health, and education. The 24th meeting of the Joint Implementation Supervisory Committee (JISC) will take place in Bonn, Germany. The meeting is open to attendance, as observers, by all parties and UNFCCC accredited observers and stakeholders. The deadline for registration as an observer is two weeks before the meeting and only observers who have registered within the stipulated deadline of 9 February 2011 will be allowed to have access to the observer room.
