They stressed the importance of fast-start finance for the swift implementation of the Cancun Agreements and endorsed the final report on finance provided by the EU and its member States to be presented at the Climate Change Conference in Durban, South Africa, at the end of 2011.

G204 November 2011: The Group of 20 (G20) Leader's Summit in Cannes concluded with the adoption of a declaration that addresses energy markets, green growth, and climate change, among other issues. Leaders called for rationalizing and phasing-out perverse fossil fuel subsidies, and reiterated their committment to a successful outcome at the upcoming 17th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 17) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), scheduled to take place in Durban, South Africa, at the end of the year.

ADB Supports Cambodia's Floods Recovery [viewed]

ADB3 November 2011: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is providing emergency humanitarian assistance of $3 million to the Cambodian Government for recovery efforts from recent floods. The grant from the Asia Pacific Disaster Response Fund will be used to supply rice seed to rural households, along with food and cash-for-work schemes for the repair of flood-damaged roads and support for temporary repairs to irrigation canals.
