UNEP and PERSGA Organize Regional Training Workshop on Adaptation Planning and Financing [viewed]

December 2010: The UN Environment Programme Regional Office for West Asia (UNEP/ROWA) and the Regional Organization for the Conservation of the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden (PERSGA), with support from the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), organized the first regional training workshop on climate change adaptation planning and financing in the Arab Region, from 20-22 December 2010, at PERSGA headquarters in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Event: 2011 Annual Meetings of the Bretton Woods Institutions [viewed]

Event: IDB Annual Meeting [viewed]

The Boards of Governors of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC) will hold their Annual Meeting to provide a forum for discussion among the institutions' Governors, most of whom are Ministers of Finance, Presidents of Central Banks, or other high-level authorities of the member countries. Representatives of multilateral financial institutions, development agencies, and private banks also attend.
