January 2013: The UN Development Programme (UNDP) and the Capacity Development for Development Effectiveness (CDDE) Facility have published a paper that provides guidance to donors and decision makers on how to organize national financial flows more effectively for climate finance, and mobilize additional public finance from domestic and international sources.
8 February 2013: The UN Collaborative Programme on Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation in Developing Countries (UN-REDD) convened a regional workshop on participation, advice and consent of stakeholders for REDD+ and a regional forum on preventing corruption in REDD+ for eight countries from Latin America.
7 February 2013: The UNFCCC Secretariat has released the report of the second part of the first session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on the Durban Platform for Enhanced Action (ADP) (FCCC/ADP/2012/3), which was held in December 2012, in Doha, Qatar. The report indicates that during the session, the ADP continued exchanges of views under a roundtable setting and agreed to hold a number of meetings during 2013, with the aim of advancing its substantive discussions on a 2015 agreement and raising ambition in the post-2012 period.
7 February 2013: The UN Development Programme (UNDP) has published assessments of climate-related Investment and Financial Flows (I&FF) in 15 countries, in order to provide decision makers with information on timing, sources, investment entities and other key factors relevant to climate finance.
