Human Rights Council to Consider Report on the Relationship between Climate Change and Human Rights [viewed]

February 2009: The tenth session of the Human Rights Council will convene from 2-27 March 2009, in Geneva, Switzerland, and is expected to focus on the impact of the global economic and financial crises on the universal realization and effective enjoyment of human rights as the priority theme. The WCRP, sponsored by the World Meteorological Organization, the International Council for Science and the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, aims to improve climate predictions and our understanding of human influence on climate through observations and modeling of the Earth system and the policy relevant assessment of climate conditions.

CGIAR-led Study Identifies Nations Highly Vulnerable to Climate Change Impacts on Fisheries [viewed]
