UnitarNovember 2009: A two-day UN inter-agency workshop was held from 29-30 October 2009, in Geneva, Switzerland, to advance the concept of a "One UN Training Service Platform on Climate Change," also referred to as "UN CC:Learn." The workshop was held at the headquarters of the UN Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and was attended by representatives from 17 UN organizations.

UNITAR and UNEP Collaborate on Climate Change Capacity Building [viewed]

© UNITAR6 April 2009: The UN Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) have entered into a collaborative effort to help build capacity for climate change adaptation. Under the partnership, UNEP's Division of Early Warning and Assessment will develop a joint module, based on the training resources developed under the UNITAR's Climate Change Capacity Development project. The new module will then be included in UNEP's Integrated Environmental Assessment (IEA) training manual.
