Event: International Energy Efficiency Forum and Workshop on Investments in Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Projects [viewed]

The Forum is organized jointly by the Government of Kazakhstan, the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), and the UN Development Programme (UNDP). It will combine an assessment of energy efficiency (EE) and renewable energy (RE) policy and legislative frameworks with the analysis of international best practices in EE and RE, focusing on ways and means of financing EE and RE investments.

Event: V International Workshop Course: Carbon Markets "Carbon Project as a New Business Opportunity" [viewed]

This course is organized by the National Environmental Fund - FONAM PERU, with support from the Ministry of Environment of Peru, the UN Development Programme (UNDP) and the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) Risoe Center. It will include presentations on: Kyoto and Voluntary Markets; Post-Copenhagen perspectives; carbon project finance; and methodological and legal issues.
