Five States Join UN-REDD [viewed]

Un-redd2 November 2009: Argentina, Cambodia, Ecuador, Nepal and Sri Lanka have joined the UN-REDD initiative (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation in Developing Countries), which aims to combat climate change by creating incentives for poorer countries to reverse the trend of deforestation and invest in more sustainable forms of development.
