The 72nd Regular Session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 72) will convene at UN Headquarters on Tuesday, 12 September 2017. The General Debate will open on Tuesday, 19 September 2017.
February 2013: The first order draft review by experts of the “Draft 2013 Revised Supplementary Methods and Good Practice Guidance Arising from the Kyoto Protocol,” developed by the Task Force on National Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Inventories (TFI) of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), ended on 3 February 2013. The guidance is expected to be finalized by October 2013.
31 January 2013: The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has issued a call for government and expert review of the second order draft of its “2013 Supplement to the 2006 IPCC Guidelines for National Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Inventories: Wetlands,” known as the Wetlands Supplement.

7 January 2013: The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is calling for experts to review the first order draft of its supplementary guidance on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and removals from land use, land-use change and forestry (LULUCF) for reporting under the Kyoto Protocol.
The 12th session of WG I for endorsement of AR5 will be held in September 2013. Subsequently, the 36th session of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC 36) will convene to consider the WGI contribution to AR5.
The 37th session of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC 37) will consider for approval two methodology reports: the "2013 Supplement to the 2006 IPCC Guidelines for National Greenhouse Gas Inventories: Wetlands”; and the good practice guidance on estimating greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and removals from land use, land use change and forestry (LULUCF) under the Kyoto Protocol.
