17 August 2009: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published a document to assist parties to make voluntary informal submissions of basic data on land use, land-use change and forestry (LULUCF), with descriptions of assumptions and uncertainties.
17 August 2009: The UNFCCC Secretariat has released a number of documents reflecting work done under the Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-term Cooperative Action under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (AWG-LCA) revised negotiating text (FCCC/AWGLCA/2009/INF.1), during the August intersessional informal consultations in Bonn.
17 August 2009: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published a technical paper, entitled “Cost of implementing methodologies and monitoring systems relating to estimates of emissions from deforestation and forest degradation, the assessment of carbon stocks and greenhouse gas emissions from changes in forest cover, and the enhancement of forest carbon stocks” (FCCC/TP/2009/1), on the REDD information sharing web platform.
14 August 2009: The Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-term Cooperative Action under the Convention (AWG-LCA) and the Ad Hoc Working Group on Further Commitments for Annex I Parties under the Kyoto Protocol (AWG-KP) held intersessional informal consultations in Bonn, Germany, from 10-14 August 2009 (also referred to as Bonn III).
14 August 2009: The determinations regarding two Joint Implementation (JI) project design documents (PDDs) have been deemed final. This is pursuant to decision 9/CMP.1 (JI guidelines), which provides that a PDD determination shall be deemed final 45 days after the date on which it is made public, unless a request for its review is submitted by a party involved in the project or three members of the JI Supervisory Committee (JISC).

5 August 2009: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published a report (FCCC/SBI/2009/8) of the 30th session of the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI), which took place from 1-10 June 2009, in Bonn, Germany.
5 August 2009: The UNFCCC Secretariat has released a report (FCCC/SBSTA/2009/3) of the 30th session of the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA), which was held in Bonn, Germany, from 1-10 June 2009.
5 August 2009: The UNFCCC Secretariat has also published, in addition to the three submissions contained in document (FCCC/KP/AWG/2009/MISC.14), two submissions from parties (FCCC/KP/AWG/2009/MISC.14/Add.1) on further views and proposals relating to a proposal for amendments to the Kyoto Protocol pursuant to its Article 3, paragraph 9, and a text on other issues outlined in document FCCC/KP/AWG/2008/8. The submissions are from Sri Lanka and Sweden on behalf of the EU.
