Experts on Long-term Finance Consider Enabling Environments and Pathways for Mobilizing Climate Finance [viewed]

Participants made good progress on the topics of focus of the thematic sessions. However, it was recognized that more work remains to be done on defining climate finance, on improving the tracking and reporting of climate finance flows, and on overcoming the barriers to the pathways for mobilizing scale-up climate finance.

Event: Fourth Workshop on Enhancing the Regional Distribution of CDM Projects in Asia and the Pacific [viewed]

The Fourth Workshop on Enhancing the Regional Distribution of Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) Projects in Asia and the Pacific will convene from 4-5 September 2013, in Manila, the Philippines, and is hosted by the UNFCCC Secretariat, the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES) and the UN Environment Programme (UNEP). Project developers, CDM consultants, and designated national authorities (DNAs) are expected to attend the workshop. A DNA training for Asia, the Pacific and Eastern Europe will be held immediately prior to the workshop on 2-3 September 2013 at the same venue.
