UNFCCC Releases Technical Paper on Various Approaches [viewed]

24 August 2012: The UNFCCC Secretariat has released a technical paper on various approaches, including opportunities for using markets, to enhance the cost-effectiveness of, and to promote, mitigation actions, bearing in mind different circumstances of developed and developing countries (FCCC/TP/2012/4). The document may assist Parties in their elaboration of modalities and procedures under this agenda item with a view to recommending decisions for adoption by the 18th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 18).

UNFCCC Releases LDCs' and Japan's Submissions on a Framework for Various Approaches [viewed]

UNFCCC Publishes Latvia's GHG Inventory Review Report [viewed]

UNFCCC13 August 2012: The UNFCCC Secretariat has released the report of the centralized review of the 2011 annual submission of Latvia (FCCC/ARR/2011/LVA), which states that total greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions decreased by 59.7% between 1990 and 2009.
