UNFCCC Executive Secretary Highlights Financing for Developing Countries as Key to a Climate Change Agreement [viewed]

© UNFCCC24 July 2009: In an address on UN Radio, Yvo de Boer, UNFCCC Executive Secretary, said “sealing the deal” for a comprehensive global climate change agreement in Copenhagen in December hinges largely on securing the financing needed for mitigation and adaptation to help developing countries tackle global warming, as well as financial help for them to acquire “green” technology.
