FCPF Collaborates on Report on REDD+ National Registries [viewed]

May 2011: The Forest Carbon Partnership Facility (FCPF), the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and KfW Bankengruppe have collaborated to produce a report on the utility of national registries for initiatives on REDD+ (reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation in developing countries, as well as conservation, sustainable management of forests and enhancement of carbon stocks).

Event: Policy Options to Support Climate-Induced Migration in Asia and the Pacific - Policy Dialogue [viewed]

World Bank Approves Energy Efficiency and Renewables Loan for Poland [viewed]

7 June 2011: The World Bank approved a 750 million Euro loan to support Poland's implementation of its Energy Policy of Poland Until 2030, adopted in November 2009 with the objective to: decrease energy consumption by 20% by 2020, compared to business as usual; increase the share of renewable energy in final energy consumption to 15% by 2020; and achieve a 20% reduction in greenhouse gas (GHG) emission target by 2020.

AfDB Invests in Solar and Wind Power in Sub-Saharan Africa [viewed]
