OECD Report Analyzes Carbon Pricing and Climate Policies [viewed]

ADB, International Rice Research Institute Collaborate on Climate-Resilient Rice [viewed]

ADB25 September 2013: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has announced it is collaborating with the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) to develop climate-resilient rice, as part of efforts to boost productivity in water-scarce and drought-prone areas. The 'CCAFS workshop on South-South learning on scaling up institutions and policies to manage current as well as future climatic risks in the agriculture sector' will focus on promoting South-South learning on institutions and policies. Participants will share lessons to be learned from their experience in piloting policies and creating institutions to manage current as well as future climatic risks in the agricultural sector. On 4-5 December, the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) will organize a capacity strengthening workshops on prioritization tools for participants.
