The International Energy Agency (IEA) will convene a ministerial-level meeting to discuss global energy and environmental challenges. Discussions will focus on: ensuring secure and sustainable energy supplies in the aftermath of the economic crisis; necessary steps required to meet tough climate change targets; and addressing the aforementioned challenges at the global level. Additional talks will be held on improving global energy dialogue, ensuring comprehensive energy security and actions for assuring the sustainability of energy supplies in the future.
