OAS Endorses Inter‐American Plan for Disaster Prevention and Response [viewed]

OAS6 June 2012:  The Organization of American States' (OAS) General Assembly has endorsed the Inter‐American Plan for Disaster Prevention and Response and the Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance. IEA Reviews Swiss Energy Policy [viewed]

ECOWAS Agrees on Principles of Regional Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Policies [viewed]

27 June 2012: The Commission of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) held a regional workshop at the ECOWAS Regional Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE) from 25-27 June in Dakar, Senegal, during which the main aims and components of a regional renewable energy and energy efficiency policy of ECOWAS were agreed by directors of the region's Ministries of Energy.

IEA Executive Director: Urban Policies Must Change to Meet Sustainable Energy Challenge [viewed]
