UN-REDD, Kenya Assess REDD+ Corruption Risk [viewed]

UN-REDD Programme14 January 2014: The UN Collaborative Programme on Reducing Emissions from Deforestation (UN-REDD) has reported that Kenya's Ministry of Environment, Water and Natural Resources has launched 'A Corruption Risk Assessment for REDD+ in Kenya.' The study was conducted by the Anti-Corruption Resource Centre (U4) with the support of the UN-REDD Programme with engagement of Kenya's Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission.

Mountain Partnership Calls for Including Mountains in Post-2015 Development Agenda [viewed]

Mountain Partnership10 January 2014: Representatives from Argentina, Italy, Kyrgyzstan and Peru called for including mountains in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) during an event on the margins of the seventh session of the UN General Assembly's (UNGA) Open Working Group (OWG) on SDGs. Also at the event, which took place on 8 January 2014, in New York, US, the Mountain Partnership Secretariat introduced two policy briefs highlighting sustainable mountain development as a priority.

IRENA Releases Roadmap to Double Global Renewable Energy Share [viewed]
