31 May 2009: The UNFCCC Secretariat has released a technical paper on the cost of implementing methodologies and monitoring systems relating to estimates of emissions from deforestation and forest degradation, the assessment of carbon stocks and greenhouse gas emissions from changes in forest cover, and the enhancement of forest carbon stocks (FCCC/TP/2009/1).
31 May 2009: The UNFCCC Secretariat has released two documents on party submissions, which will be considered by the sixth session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-term Cooperative Action under the Convention (AWG-LCA) in June 2009. The first contains submissions by Australia, Norway, Japan and the US on ideas and proposals on the elements contained in paragraph 1 of the Bali Action Plan (FCCC/AWGLCA/2009/MISC.4/Add.2).
