29 June 2010: The UN Department for Social and Economic Affairs (UNDESA) has released the World Economic and Social Survey (WEES) 2010, which indicates that many of the global crises in recent years – such as the food, fuel and financial crises – are to a large extent due to major systemic failures in the global economy and weaknesses in the mechanisms for global governance.
28 June 2010: The UNFCCC Secretariat has released the report (FCCC/KP/AWG/2010/7) of the 12th session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Further Commitments for Annex I Parties under the Kyoto Protocol (AWG-KP) and the report (FCCC/AWGLCA/2010/7) of the tenth session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-term Cooperative Action under the Convention (AWG-LCA), held in Bonn, Germany, from 1-11 June 2010.
23 June 2010: UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has launched the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) Report 2010, a yearly assessment of global progress towards the MDGs.
18 June 2010: The UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) has released the "Economic Development in Africa Report 2010-South-South Cooperation: Africa and the New Forms of Development Partnership," which examines the recent trends in the economic relationships of Africa with other developing countries, as well as new forms of partnership that have emerged in the past years.
10 June 2010: The World Health Organization (WHO) has released a paper titled “Overview of health considerations within National Adaptation Programmes of Action (NAPAs) for climate change in least developed countries (LDCs) and small
island States,” which aims to ensure that health is a central component in the preparation of NAPAs.
28 June 2010: The European Commission released its Annual Report 2010 on the implementation of the EU's development and external assistance policies in 2009, including climate financing.
24 June 2010: According to the preliminary findings of research undertaken by the Zoological Society of London for the UN Environment Programme's Convention on Migratory Species (UNEP/CMS), species such as turtles and whales are exceptionally vulnerable to climate change.
