2014 SEED Awards Celebrate African, Low-Carbon and Women's Enterprises [viewed]

Seed10 September 2014: A total of 41 enterprises from Africa and elsewhere have received the 2014 SEED Award, which celebrates innovative social and environmental start-up enterprises in developing and emerging economies tackling key sustainable development challenges at community level. The awards were announced during the 2014 SEED Awards Africa Symposium, held from 10-11 September 2014, in Nairobi, Kenya.

UNFCCC Reports on Non-Annex I GHG Inventory Trainings [viewed]

UNFCCC9 September 2014: The UNFCCC Secretariat has released a report on regional hands-on training workshops, organized between October 2013 and March 2014, on the use of non-Annex I greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory software (NAIIS). The report describes the proceedings of, and presentations and discussions held during, three workshops aimed at training national focal points and other key experts from non-Annex I parties.
