Climate Neutral Network Member to Offset Emissions during World Cup [viewed]

23 April 2010: The sportswear company PUMA, a member of the UN Environment Programme's (UNEP) Climate Neutral Network, has announced plans to offset the carbon dioxide emissions of PUMA-sponsored national football teams taking part in the Football World Cup this summer in South Africa. This includes teams from Algeria, Cameroon, Côte D'Ivoire, Ghana, Italy, Switzerland and Uruguay, and represents emissions from a total of 336 players and officials.
