March 2009: The Global Environment Facility-Scientific and Technical Advisory Panel (GEF-STAP) will hold a workshop on reducing emissions from  deforestation and forest degradation (REDD), forest conservation, and sustainable forest management on 31 March 2009, in Washington, DC, US. This workshop will constitute GEF-STAP's contribution to the GEF's fifth replenishment strategies for climate change, sustainable forest management, land degradation and biodiversity.

UNFF to Consider Forests and Climate Change [viewed]

February 2009: The UN Forum on Forests (UNFF) Secretariat has posted additional documents in preparation for its eighth session, which will convene from 20 April-1 May 2009, in New York, US.
