Event: Forum on Gender and Climate Change at World Climate Conference-3 [viewed]

This forum is organized by the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), in collaboration with the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the Global Gender and Climate Alliance (GGCA), IUCN, the UN Development Programme (UNDP), the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). The event will explore linkages between gender and climate issues, particularly in relation to the role of women as effective agents of change, and enhancing women's capacities to address climate change.

Event: Water and Climate Days at the World Water Week in Stockholm [viewed]

The Days present a comprehensive programme of scientific knowledge, practical responses and opportunities for public awareness raising - a chance to push for greater political action in the run-up to and beyond the 15th session of the Conference of the parties to the UNFCCC. The sessions build on previous Water and Climate Days held in 2007 and 2008 and are a joint effort between many organizations working on key water and climate policy issues.

ITU Symposium Stresses Bridging the Digital Divide to Tackle Climate Change [viewed]
